What it covers

- What you want: the result you have in mind, ideally with photos
- Whether it is realistic: what can be done in one visit and what may take more than one
- A plan: the technique, the likely tone and how it will grow out
What to bring
Pictures of colours you like and, just as useful, pictures of colours you do not. Mention any recent home colour or treatments, because they affect what can be done.
Questions worth asking
- How will it look as it grows out?
- How often will I need to come back?
- Is a patch test needed? A patch test is needed before colour.
